The information that we collect
In the course of its business activities, Next Research collects personal data, including in that in connection with some customer services. We also collect personal data on certain areas of the Sites, if you register for jobs, request demonstrations, send an email to us, download the Site content such as PDF reports, and/or participate in public user posting areas (such as social media, discussion forums and surveys). The personal data collected may include the information that you provide, for example your name, postal address, email address, phone number and information necessary for completing a job application.
How we use the information we collect
Next Research uses your personal data to process requests, personalise the content that you receive or view on the Sites, analysis and make improvements to our service offerings, send news letters to you, evaluate the Sites functioning and performance, enforce the terms that we have laid out, comply with laws and business reporting responsibilities and fulfil any other request you may have. We may record any of your personal data in our system and use it to make contact with you.
Legal basis for collecting information
Next Research processes your personal data for the reasons mentioned above on the basis that:
in part, on our legitimate interests in promoting and protecting Next Research, building and maintaining relationships. recruitment, and providing our services;
in part, on your consent, for example if you request a demonstration, or send a message through the Sites email features, or for business purposes that support web operations such as understanding and enhancing the quality of your experience on our websites;
in part, to comply with the law, when certain information is necessary to satisfy our legal or regulatory obligations.
Security of information
Next Research has applied generally accepted grades of technologies and operational safety to shield your personal data from misuse, loss, leak, alteration or discretion. Only legitimate and authorised Next Research employees plus third party service providers may be granted access to your personal data, and are obligated to treat your information as confidential. However, despite these measures, we cannot and do not guarantee that unauthorised persons will not access your personal data.
Next Research keeps personal information, when and as necessary, for the full length of pertaining business relationships.
You may have the right to you personal data that we have collected, where granted by the applicable law, for the purpose of reviewing, modifying, or requesting deletion of your data. You may also have the right to receive a copy of the information we have collected about you and therein, to have incorrect information rectified. In some circumstances, you may request that we stop processing your personal information.
